Canadian Cottaging

[rev_slider cottage]

Paul spent his summers at his family’s cottage on Chesley Lake in Ontario, Canada. His parents built the cottage from scratch. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two sleeping lofts, it could hold a lot of us. The memories Paul had as a kid, we passed on to ours. Every summer we’d spend many relaxing weekends and weeks up at the cottage. Favorite activities are searching for morels, night time crayfish hunting, autumn walks in the leaves, fishing off the dock, playing tennis, paddle boating, golfing, golf ball hunting, making clubhouses, catching tadpoles and frogs, going to the tuck shop for ice cream and candy, campfires, VBS, grandma’s potato salad, playing games, and sleeping in. I love that there are three generations of memories up at the cottage, and hopefully more to come.
