Day 60, Summer in Asia, Los Angeles
We woke up on Thursday, hung out in Auckland until 7:30 pm, then flew 12 hours east to arrive in LA at 12:30 pm, still on Thursday. Crossing through many time zones gave us a 40-hour day.
After we landed in LA we rented a car and drove to Bakersfield to be closer to the Giant Sequoia National Park. We drove through beautiful yellow hills and saw one hillside fire being dealt with by water planes.
We ate at Mama Roombas, also visited by Guy on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
We ended our 40 hour Thursday which began in Auckland and ended at Mama Roombas, in Cali.
