When I was little my mom made an advent wreath with four candles and some pine branches twisted into a circle. We lit one candle for each Sunday leading up to Christmas. She also loved chocolate. It’s no surprise that when I had kids I loved the idea of giving them Advent calendars. What could be better than a little daily chocolate goodie counting down to Christmas.
Normally we have little stocking calendar in which you can personalize with each person’s favorite chocolate. This year we got Kinder and Milka ones, which aren’t available at home. the girls were excited. You’re never too big for Christmas treats.
