Day 270, Tokyo, Japan
I had no idea cherry blossom season was such a huge deal, and I’m so glad it is. Ueno Park attracts millions of people when the trees are in full bloom. It’s about a month before the trees are scheduled to be in their full glory, but already weeks early, a few trees are already blossoming.
Even Starbucks knows how to market the season.
What surprised me was that cherry blossoms are in everywhere in advertising. Here is an example of a store window.
I wonder if I’ll ever get tired of taking pictures of these little pink flowers.
