Day 182
Paris is magical at Christmas. The Christmas markets big and small pop up in squares, outside train stations, other random locations. Chocolatiers make special holiday creations.
There are unexpected treats, lights, booths, and music everywhere. I can’t think of a better place to have Christmas.
The Christmas markets in Paris each have a different personality. At La Defense the huge cornered arch towers over you.
Between the stalls you walk on red carpets.
You can pick up a Christmas tree before you head home. There are manger scene animals at the entrance.
There are also lots of food choices.
We found a Canadian booth, and had some Quebec style poutine. The girls also got a beaver tail, which was the highlight of the day.
