Day 363, Venice, Italy
Despite being a heavy tourist destination, we will always love Venice. Some cities you visit once, and others draw you back like a magnet. This is one of those cities for us. We first visited it almost 15 years ago, and this is our fourth time back. You must be able to look past the crowds and appreciate the fascinating uniqueness of this city on stilts.
We’ve stayed in different parts of Venice, so there are parts we know well. We didn’t do museums on this visit, simply walked the streets and sat in the piazzas.
