Day 126

On our way to shop at the Champs Elysees,  we walked to Gardin d’Acclimatation, and saw a few interesting things along the way.

Paul talks to strangers, he can’t help himself. This time, while waiting to buy some jeans at the Levis store on the Champs Elysees, he unknowingly struck up a conversation with Dennis Crouch, the bass player for Diana Krall. By the time they got to the cash register, he’d invited us to be on the band’s guest list for their concert, the next night at the famous Olympia theater. Well, if we must. We heard Diana Krall and five of the best jazz musicians in the world, in orchestra seats worth $260 cdn each–best date night ever. Thank you Dennis!
