Day 370, Gicon, France
We spent many summers in Europe, always staying in Saint Victor la Coste, not far from Gicon. We first heard of Gicon from Paul’s brother, who spent a college term restoring the site. We always spent one or two days at Gicon, bringing a picnic lunch. The girls would run among the ruins making up games and imaginary worlds. We spent hours here. We set up the picnic on the stone table topped with a ceramic tile map of the area. The girls put on shows in the theater. Cali had her first solid food at Gicon when she was a few months old. Many great memories among these stone walls.
