Making up for Lost Halloweens

When living in other cultures, we have become familiar with many new holidays, but we always miss some of our own. That’s been the case with us and Halloween. We’ve missed at least 4 by living in places like Guatemala or Paris. Even though the girls are a bit older, they still have not had their fill of Halloween. This year the girls chose a Frozen theme, made Halloween goodies and picked a few scary movies to end the evening. In between they gave candy to the kids at the door, and Cali even went out and filled a bucket with candy.

The girls are master planners when it comes to every holiday. Madi started months ago deciding the costume theme, Kier goes onto Pinterest to decide menu projects. Cali adds her over the top enthusiasm and everyone wants to make the trip to the party or dollar store for decorations. Here’s how the evening unfolded.
