Day 203
Our three months in Paris ends on Friday, it’s time to plan what happens next. 24 hours ago that’s all we knew. We put our heads together, fingers to keys, and now know where we will be until the end of January. It’s easy to book tickets, houses, transportation, online. Usually, the internet is your friend, but sometimes, it isn’t. We were planning to go to India before Thailand, but the online Visa site was having tech difficulties with its payment app. We tried for a couple of days. You cannot apply for them at the border, and we didn’t have enough business days to go to an embassy. So we adjusted our initial idea of going there and hope to do so on the way back.
On Friday we will fly to Istanbul for a week, then do a one day layover in Dubai on our way to Thailand for three weeks. We’ve booked a couple of apartments with great views overlooking the river or ocean in three locations. I’ve wanted to see Thailand for many years and it’s happening in a little over a week. Excited for that.
