Day 375, Cuvergnon, France, not far from Paris
Cabrières had been so good to us, we were sad to leave. But it’s become our new favorite for the area, so I hope we can return. Time to wrap up this part of our trip and get back to North America.
Our flight leaves from Paris tomorrow. Instead of staying in Paris, we opted for a small town within a short driving distance to the airport. Glad we did. It was such an adorable property out in the country, lots of land.
Our hosts were so kind and had an interesting history themselves. We got there in the evening and didn’t have much time to do any thing other than drive into the small town of Crépy-en-Valois for supper.
Our hosts recommended La Fleur de Sel. We sat in the basement which was like a wine cellar. It was a good way to end the French part of our trip. Very French meal in a very French setting.
